Peony Julia Rose (Itoh)

Many Peonies have the tendency to change color during their bloom. Especially some Itoh Peonies are known to do this like no other. It is not always equally beautiful, sometimes they can turn a bit pale. But, for the Julia Rose, the changing of color is a wonderful sight to see. Every shade of pastel that she shows is like candy by the eye. But even more so, the combination of different shades of pastel on the older and the younger flowers is truly amazing.
