She is named after maybe the most beautiful and most educative garden in the world: Wisley Gardens. The flagship of the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) in England. For the celebration of the 100 years of existence of the RHS in 2003 the Royal Dutch Bulb growers Association named a Daffodil after them as a present. They choose one of the best Daffodils out of the enormous seedling collection of Karel van der Veek. An early and very long lasting garden Daffodil with a cyclamineus shape. When you visit Wisley Gardens in the springtime she is abundantly blooming near the entrance.
