Anastasia Romanova

This ‘Russian Princess’ is one of the biggest and most beautiful tulips in our Fluwel collection. I’ve got a funny confession to make: I’ve been supplying this tulip to my English daffodil-loving friends for years. They always told me, ‘Carlos, we need this tulip, it’s the most gorgeous one, and it can win prizes at the Narcissus shows in England’ (they always have a competition for the most beautiful tulip at the English Narcissus shows). This year, when I asked grower Pennings if I could buy a tray of his beautiful Russian princess, he replied, ‘Why just one tray? I can supply you with a lot more.’ I thought, ‘Wow, why didn’t I ever put her on our webshop, so you all could enjoy her too?’ Our Fluwel customers will surely appreciate her.
