Narcissus I Love You

With this daffodil, I won first prize in the 2017 Early Daffodil Competitions of the RHS at Rosemoor. This was the best large-flowering daffodil of the whole show. I hadn’t given her a name yet: she was just seedling F41, but everyone encouraged me to name her, so I had to come up with something quickly. All visitors and other competitors expressed themselves over the flower with words like ‘I love this daffodil,’ and ‘what a lovely flower!’ so I figured that would be her name: ‘I Love You.’ Most daffoldil-people will have to get used to such a name but nothing wrong with such a name. Nice to say and easy to remember.
