What if you do not have a garden, but would still like to enjoy blooming flowers? Flowers in pot are the answer! A flowerpot looks great on a terrace, in a tiled garden, or a balcony. Potted flowers will also look nice along the drive or next to the front door – basically everywhere!
Because Fluwel would like for everyone to be able to enjoy flowers, we have gathered some pictures of potted flowers that can be used as inspiration. This way, you can see how you can put together a nicely arranged flowerpot. Flowerpots come in all shapes and sizes and are very suitable for bulb mixtures. It will look like a small garden party!
We also have some advice regarding potted flowerbulbs. It is mostly the same as plantning flower bulbs in the soil, but extra knowledge never hurts.
- Plant the flowerbulbs deep enough. Put at least 5 cm soil on top of them.
- Make sure the pot does not dry out during winter. When the bulbs are in the ground, they need water, too.
- When the frost is harsh, it is best to cover the pot with hay, a piece of canvas or some other cover-up. This will prevent frost damage to the flowerbulbs.
We hope you have a good time in the garden this year!
