When hearing the word ‘perennial,’ most people do not think about flowerbulbs like daffodils, while in fact, daffodils are very reliable plants that return every year! Plant them once at a good place in your garden: a nice spot where the soil is not too dry and the plant sees sunlight for a minimum of six hours a day. With daffodils, success is guaranteed! The next year – and many years after that – your daffodils continue to surprise you with their beauty, and in even bigger numbers than when you first planted them.
As you may know about me, I am a big daffodil fan. This is why I have such a big collection of seedlings and special varieties that I nurture and pamper with love and care. All these special varieties and seedlings are partly mine, but also parlty to others.
At the moment, we are measuring all these varieties: depending on the size of a variety or seedling, the bulbs get weighed or counted by hand. Because of this, we know how much we will be able to sell of each kind, and how much they have grown. With a nice group of people this is dynamic work that simply never gets boring. Here, you can see what this work looks like!
