Muscari latifolium

An increasingly popular grape with a strong personality. As opposed to most other grapes, this variety doesn’t become finer over time, and blooms wonderfully for years. Its tiny bulbs don’t produce offsets, which has two advantages: no more overcrowded tufts which don’t bloom, and all energy stays in the bulb, so it can bloom just as beautifully the next year. Ideally it may spread, though this never happened to me.
