Lilium Magnifique

She is short, she is fast, she is special, she is beautiful, she is simply Magnifique. For me, always a very nice start to the Lily flowering season. I plant a pot of each type in our assortment every year to see if the Lilies do what is expected of them. Every year I then fully enjoy her beautifully shaped bells when she is the first to bloom again. But of course it is not all sunshine and rainbows. Due to her early and rapid growth, her juicy leaves are a delicacy for the Lily Beetle. Keep checking her carefully to make sure she is not being eaten and remove the larvae of the beetle.
