Dahlia Mambo

As in every Latin American dance, the hips must move freely and rhythmically. You can keep this in mind before considering planting this Dahlia in your garden. And yes, the Mambo is indeed that dance from the movie Dirty Dancing where they kept stepping on their toes—not an easy dance, that's for sure.

Fortunately, the Dahlia Mambo is much simpler. Like all other Anemone-flowered Dahlias, the Mambo blooms vigorously and happily dances in the garden on her delicate thin stems with her many flowers. The brightly colored flowers of the Mambo are slightly larger than most of her ‘Anemone-flowered’ counterparts. More show in the garden, even more eye-catching. Really, give it a try; she stands out in the garden like a flamingo in a coop full of chickens.
